Loooooooooong fermentation
Water sent directly from the Montseny springs*
* It is the only beer made entirely with natural mineral water from the Font d’Or springs of Montseny.
  • Strong pale lager, low fermentation
  • Amber
  • Reduced, sticky, whitish
  • Smooth
  • Quite fruity, with sweet notes of malt, nuts
  • Moderately sweet, notes of hops and fruity hints, soft caramel
  • Medium structure
  • Dry and slightly bitter
  • 7.2% vol.
  • 8-12ºC
  • Lager, closed cup

Many of the finest palates in the country are Epidor drinkers. The experts say that it is a quality, gastronomical beer, perfect to go along with flavorful dishes, cheese and cured sausages.  Moritz Epidor has a 7.2º alcohol content and since we wouldn’t have it any other way, it contains a secret ingredient to give it that unique color and compact body... You won’t tell anyone, will you? Carmel malt. Add some water from Montseny, a few aromatic hops flowers and a long-term fermentation process and voilà: a mischievous beer from Moritz!

Hey, but we’re not taking all the credit: the original formula dates back to July 28, 1923.  Now that’s more personality than Batman himself!
